STORM WATER UTILITY DISTRICT MINUTES

Absent: Geoff Hibner
Also in attendance: Ben Hamblin, Harry Sturgis
1. Supervisor Winkler moved to approve the minutes from August 10 and August 13 Stormwater Utility District meetings, Supervisor DeKeyser seconded. Approved: 4/0
2. Discussion/Action – Award bid for the Herziger Pond Construction Project. Ben Hamblin spoke about the bid opening and presented the bid tabulation. He recommended Radke as the contractor for the Herziger Pond project. All contractors who submitted bids were aware that this project may be cancelled. There is a clause in the bid package that specifies what reimbursements will be made in the event the project is canceled. All documentation must be postmarked by October 1, to meet funding deadlines. Ben suggested that everything be in the mail no later than September 29. Supervisor DeKeyser moved to award the bid to Radke Contractors, Inc, the lowest bidder at $387,221.05. Supervisor Winkler seconded. Discussion: This motion authorizes the chair to sign the contract on behalf of the town. The chair could also call a separate meeting before signing the contract if there is a significant change. A separate meeting will be called to authorize the purchase of the land. Chairman Schmeichel requested a roll call vote:

The motion passed 3:1.
Supervisor DeKeyser moved to adjourn, Supervisor Winkler seconded. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:30 AM.
