TOWN OF NEENAH BUDGET WORKSHOP

Present: Bob Schmeichel, Jan DeKeyser, and Glenn Winkler
Absent: Geoff Hibner and David Dexter
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm by Chairman Schmeichel.
The clerk/treasurer provided updated worksheets for General Fund revenue and expenses. The board discussed several options to reduce expenditures by approximately $30,000. The board decided to pay off a 2005 state trust fund loan from the general fund in 2010. This action will require a withdrawal of approximately $107,000 from reserves, but will reduce expenditures in 2011 and 2012 by approximately $30,000.
Supervisor DeKeyser moved to submit the proposed budget for public hearing on November 9. Supervisor Winkler seconded. The motion carried: 3/0.
