TOWN OF NEENAH
PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
Time and Date: Monday, May 18, 2009, 7:00 p.m.
Location of Meeting: Town of Neenah Town Hall
1600 Breezewood Lane, Neenah, WI 54956
In attendance: Tom Wilde, Tony Kranner, Dave Dexter, Bob Schmeichel, and Tom Stolla.
Also in attendance: Dan Dimond, Harry Sturgis
Absent: Phil Langohr, Jack Ise
1. Call meeting to Order
2. Approve meeting minutes - March 16, 2009: Tony Kranner moved to accept the minutes, Tom Wilde seconded. The minutes were approved 5/0. April 20, 2009: Dave Dexter moved to accept the minutes with changes as discussed, Tom Stolla seconded. The minutes were approved 5/0. May 11, 2009: Tom Wilde moved to accept the minutes, Tom Stolla seconded. The minutes were approved 5/0.
3. Discussion/action: Comprehensive Plan – no action required.
4. Discussion/action: Approve “Resolution 2009-04 Amended”, Recommending the Adoption of the Town of Neenah Comprehensive Plan 2009-2029. Dave Dexter moved to approve the resolution, Tom Stolla seconded. The motion was carried 5/0.
5. Discussion/action: Review of Land-Use Concepts Policy – It was agreed that this document should be available to residents at the Town Hall and on the website (if an appropriate place can be found). Dave Dexter moved to reaffirm the Land-Use Concepts Policy, seconded by Tony Kranner. The motion carried 5/0.
6. Dan Diamond was recognized from the floor. He is questioning a proposed road by a neighbor Oakridge Nursery. The Commission told Mr. Diamond that he and other neighbors would be notified when and if the nursery requests zoning changes.
7. Motion to adjourn was made by Tom Wilde, seconded by Tom Stolla. The meeting was adjourned at 7:22 with a vote of 5/0.
