TOWN BOARD MEETING
February 22, 2010, 7:00 pm

1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Approve the minutes from the February 8th meetings. Supervisor Winkler moved to approve the minutes from February 8. Supervisor DeKeyser seconded. The motion carried: 5/0
3. Open Forum – no speakers
4. Open Forum for recognized municipal and county officials – no speakers
5. Discussion/Action
a. Approve Vouchers and Payroll dated 2/24/10 – Supervisor Dexter moved to approve the vouchers dated 2/24/10. Supervisor Hibner seconded. The motion was amended by Supervisor Hibner as follows: Approve the vouchers dated 2/24/10, contingent on the clerk sending Mr. St Peters’ office notice that no action should be taken in the future which could incur an expense for the Town, based on receipt of any communication received from any Town resident or property owner, unless explicit instruction is received from the Town clerk or the Board of Supervisors. The motion passed: 5/0.
b. Approve sales order agreement to purchase re-furbished AccuVote OS Scanner and memory card. Supervisor DeKeyser moved to authorize the clerk to purchase a re-furbished AccuVote OS Scanner memory card in the amount of $1750. Supervisor Dexter seconded. The motion passed: 5/0.
c. Approve 2010 Lawn Mowing agreement with Tom Buck – Supervisor DeKeyser moved to approve the 2010 agreement with Tom Buck to mow the lawn with the per hour wage equal to 2009 at $12.00 and have Chairman Schmeichel sign. Supervisor Hibner seconded. The motion passed: 5/0.
d. Discussion Action – Land purchase request by Christopher Baldwin. Supervisor Dexter moved to not forward Mr. Baldwin’s land purchase request to the Land Committee and therefore deny the request. Supervisor Winkler seconded. The motion passed: 5/0. The clerk will reply to Mr. Baldwin via email.
e. Discussion/Action – Provide input to Representative Roth regarding county assessment. No response is required.
f. Discussion/Action – Response to open record requests. No action required.
6. Old Business
a. 2010 Agreement with the Animal Welfare League – Chairman Schmeichel talked with the director (April Pinnow). She will put together an agreement for the Town of Neenah. The clerk will include this item on the next agenda.
b. RTA – Mike Ellis has signed on to re-write the bill. Supervisor Dexter spoke with Rep Ellis regarding this topic. Supervisor Dexter asked that a provision be added to include representation on the board for any municipality that opts in to the RTA.
c. Fireman’s Banquet March 21 at 6:00pm

9. Supervisor Winkler moved to adjourn. Supervisor Dexter seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm
