TOWN OF NEENAH TRAILS COMMITTEE MINUTES
December 16, 2009
Municipal Building
1600 Breezewood Lane
7:00PM
In attendance: Glenn Winkler, Cindy Lancaster, Mark Lancaster, and John Swanson
Absent: Mark Griffin, Molly Griffin, and Jim Pawlowski
1. Chairman Winkler called the meeting to order at 7:13pm
2. Motion by John Swanson, second by Mark Lancaster to approve the September 16, 2009 minutes. Motion approved 4-0.
3. No one spoke at the Open Forum.
4. a.) Chairman Winkler showed committee members an estimate for landscape work at the CB rest area from Mr. Keepers. A motion by John Swanson, second by Cindy Lancaster to accept the estimate. Motion approved 4-0.
b.) Chairman Winkler told the committee Paul Kuehnl had spread screenings at the south gate and graded to rest of Keating Trail for a total cost of $320.00.
c.) No report on South Park trail was mentioned.
5. Old business – Chairman Winkler told the committee he had contacted John Haese, Winnebago County Highway Commissioner about asphalt dip at CB Bridge. Mr. Haese sent a crew to repair the problem.
John Swanson will look into sizes of trail maps and get quotes on map boards to hold a regional map. The location for this project is near the County CB – JJ intersection.
6. New business – Chairman Winkler informed the committee the next meeting will be April 21, 2010.
7. Chairman Winkler informed the committee the Town Board had approved the 2010 Trails Budget of $3,650.00.
8. Motion to adjourn by John Swanson, second by Mark Lancaster. The motion approved 4-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 pm.
